I actually didn’t audition for, nor was I originally involved with, this show. I had just finished Singin’ in the Rain with the same creative team, and two nights before their opening show (which I was hoping to attend) the director gave me a call and told me one of their Urchins unexpectedly had to leave the show, and he was wondering if I would be able to fill in! I had never done this show before and had to learn all of the harmonies and choreography in two days! I sure attended the opening performance like I had wanted, but instead, it was from the stage! Craziest but most fun thing I have ever done!
