Bonnie and Clyde

role: Blanche Barrow

When preparing to play the role of Blanche, I really wanted to do the real woman justice. She truly didn’t see herself as a criminal, and I have to say that after further research, neither did I! You always have to approach every character you play with zero judgement, otherwise you won’t play it convincingly! Blanche Barrow, as she laments in her memoir, was just a woman who was caught up in a life of crimes that she didn’t commit—perhaps the only one being loving her husband too much.
